Harry Potter and the Philosopher's/Sorcerer's Stone, the first in the Harry Potter series, was first published in 1997. It has seventeen chapters. The book jacket has the following story line:
Harry Potter has never played a sport while flying on a broomstick. He's never worn a cloak of invisibility, befriended a giant, or helped hatch a dragon.
